Metal buildings are pre-engineered steel structures used across West Texas for shops, equipment storage, hay barns, RV covers, and light commercial space. We coordinate with your building supplier on pad dimensions, anchor requirements, and door orientation. The steel package comes from your manufacturer; we make sure the ground and slab are ready when the erection crew arrives.

CUSTOM METAL BUILDINGS

Custom means sized and configured to your use: bay width, eave height, insulation, roll-up doors, walk doors, and lean-tos. Ranch clients need tall bays for equipment; homeowners want a shop with workspace and storage. We prep sites to the footprint and elevation your supplier specifies so anchor bolts and slab edges line up with the steel.

We do not supply or erect the building package. We handle site prep, earthwork, and surfaces:

  • Site clearing — Brush and obstacles removed from footprint and access path.
  • Building pad and caliche base — Graded, compacted pad per supplier or engineer specs.
  • Concrete slab — Flatwork when the building sits on slab rather than piers only.
  • Access and paving — Drive approach in asphalt, millings, or caliche.
  • Schedule coordination — Pad and slab done before delivery and erection day.

SHOPS AND EQUIPMENT STORAGE

Shops and equipment storage are the most common metal building requests in the Permian Basin. Oilfield support, ranch operations, and trades businesses need enclosed space for tools, vehicles, and parts.

Site prep must handle heavy equipment traffic during construction and daily use after. Compacted caliche access and a proper building pad are standard on rural sites. Remote locations and limited access are common; we have worked ranch and oilfield properties across West Texas since 1996.
